In this project, I led a user experience overhaul designed to optimize recruitment efforts for KIPP Public Schools Northern California. The primary goal was to streamline the enrollment process and reduce bounce rates by improving homepage navigation. Through strategic UX/UI design, I identified pain points in user flow and crafted a solution that aligned with the needs of prospective families.
I designed and prototyped a custom enrollment widget using Figma, aimed at guiding users intuitively through each step of the enrollment journey. This widget simplified complex navigation elements, offering clear pathways to key actions and information, such as school locations, program offerings, and application forms. By reducing friction in the user journey, I significantly improved engagement metrics, resulting in a smoother enrollment funnel.
The project highlighted my ability to combine data-driven insights with creative design solutions to solve user experience challenges. It also underscored my expertise in balancing aesthetic appeal with functionality, ensuring the redesign was visually compelling while meeting the strategic objective of driving recruitment.
